week-end. The Songs Lincoln Loved were played as well as "Yankee Doodle," "In the Evening by the Moonlight,"
and several Anton Wunderer quartets, both marches and polkas!

We played in 15 minute segments for grade school kids' field trips as part of their Civil War Days study. Music was Lincoln Songs (Civil War era).

for joining him at the Harmony Singing Society Friday Nite Supper on January
29th, 2010.
We played "Landsighting" as a Norwegian tribute.
Several other songs were also performed, notably "Morning Has Broken" and "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've
Seen."
In turn, Amy and Mary Jane thanked Ralph for a delicious Swiss steak
dinner!

the double choir pieces for us and to the horn players: Bonnie Anderson, Rosie Eden, Sue Huhta, Nancy Johnsen,
Amy Nyman, Mary Peterson, Ralph Pullin, Jr., Jeffrey Wall , and Mary Jane
White.
The performance
included: "Simple Gifts/Lord of the
Dance," a traditional selection; "Ballet," an anonymous Renaissance piece; and "Rondo de Tucson," by
Henslee.
Additionally, Bonnie Anderson and Nancy Johnsen
played "Trumpet Tune" from the "Water Music Suite in D Major" by Handel with Jim Nerstheimer, the organist at
Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

The performance included: "Ein Feste Burg" by Samuel Scheidt; a Giovanni
Gabrieli canzon titled titled "Canzone Per Sonor Primi Toni." [both of these are eight-part double
choir selections]; "Salvation Is Created," a vocal eight-part piece by a Russian orthodox composer
Tchesnokov; and a quartet version of Jean Joseph Mouret's
"Rondeau."
