- Education: BA Music ED at
University of Arizona, 1967; MA Music
Performance & Education at Northern Illinois
University,1996.
- Primary
Instruments: Horn and piano.
- Growing up in
Tucson, I was surrounded by music. My
grandmother and mother loved to sing. Mom
played Jazz piano and dad played the
harmonica.
- Some of my
favorite teachers who were most influential in my
music were: Dorothy Frazier, 6th grade,
Blenman, El.; Pat Curry, and Carlyle Webb,
Catalina High; Bucky Steele, Dr. Balaz, Tucson,
Sym. and Youth Sym. Horn professors: Dr.
Ed Murphy; Phillip Farkas; Doug Hill; John
Fairfield.
- I have taught
K-12, vocal music and 4-12 band. Director
and Co-founder, Freeport (IL) Chamber Orchestra, and
private music teacher since the late
60's.

Bremerton, WA Sym. Beloit, WI and Rockford IL
Sym. Honeywell band. Rockford IL
Horn Club; First horn In the Freeport IL
Concert Band since 1972. Now also perform
with Arizona Symphonic Winds, Tucson Concert Band and
the Old Pueblo Brass Band in Tucson
AZ.

music, I do a variety of fiber arts, quilting,
knitting, needlework, and
